Cool Japanese Guy’s Patchwork Suit, Docs & Purple-Green Hair

Meet Ryo, a colorfully-dressed 18-year-old Japanese student that we ran into on the street in Shinjuku. Beyond his clothing, Ryo’s purple-green-gray-white-black long-bangs hairstyle made an impression when we first spotted him.

Ryo is wearing an outfit put together with multiple items from the hip Harajuku resale/vintage shop Daybreak that features matching rolled-up pants and a jacket in a colorful patchwork pattern, a blue shirt with extra-long sleeves, and a loosely tied tie. Ryo is also wearing beaten-up Dr. Martens boots, multiple earrings (at least one looks gauged), silver rings, and he’s carrying a Calvin Klein bag (which may have also been purchased resale).

When we asked him about his favorite things, Ryo said that he likes the Harajuku shops Daybreak and Dog as well as the punk band We the Kings.
