Engineered Garments Tokyo Store Coming in 2009

Yesterday, we posted an article about the Engineered Garments Fall/Winter 2008 collection. Now we have news of EG, the American-brand-created-by-Japanese-designer, opening its first shop in Tokyo.

The first Engineered Garments flagship shop in Japan will be opened in the Aoyama area of Tokyo on February 1, 2009, according to the brand’s Japanese website.

We aren’t sure of the exact address of the new store as most of the current online information has to do with hiring shop staff and only lists “Aoyama” as the location. We’ll keep our eyes and ears open to try to figure out where the store is as the opening date gets closer.

While this will be the first dedicated shop for the brand in Japan, you don’t have to wait for it to open to get the Fall/Winter 2008 line. You can get Engineered Garments clothing at various fashion select shops around Tokyo and their Japanese company Nepenthes is located in Shibuya.
