Her accessories include leopard print ear muffs, a red & blue scarf, a purse with an all-over text print that seems to say “DECORATION”, and a Kokopelli charm from R4T.

This 25-year-old Japanese girl with streaked hair was photographed in Harajuku. She’s wearing a mods coat (military jacket) from Rodeo Crowns, a top from Garcia Marquez Gauche, ripped and bleach-splatter pants that she said she bought at Shibuya 109, and pointy shiny black heels. Her bag is a Nirvana smiley face handbag from the popular Japanese brand Hysteric Glamour. She told us that her favorite fashion brand is Garcia Marquez and that her favorite bands include Paramore and the Japanese emo/screamo band Lostthing of Memory.

A cute Japanese girl with blue hair, a plush leopard bag, and traditional Japanese tabi boots in Harajuku.

We photographed this stylish and cute Japanese girl with blue hair in Harajuku. Her look includes her awesome hair color, which is complemented by the blue shirt that she has tied around her head, a blue knit scarf, a blue denim jacket, a knit sweater with long sleeves that looks like arm warmers, high-waisted pants with a naval themed print, and traditional Japanese tabi (split toe) boots by Martin Margiela.

Her bags are just as cool as her outfit. One is a leopard (plush leopard animal, not leopard print) handbag with a jeweled collar. The other is a large eco bag that looks like it’s been hand painted with artwork and the word “KISS”. She’s also carrying an iPhone or iPod Touch. She didn’t tell us what brands she’s wearing, but she was very nice!

A stylish Japanese guy with a cool shaggy blonde hairstyle & torn jeans on the street in Harajuku.

This super-stylish 19-year-old Japanese guy was photographed in Harajuku. He works at the popular Harajuku resale clothing shop Kinji. He’s one of those guys that you see on the streets occasionally if you spend a lot of time in Harajuku – and he’s always dressed to kill. The best thing about his current look is the shaggy blonde over-the-eyes hairstyle. If they ever do a Japanese live-action version of Scooby Doo, this guy could play Shaggy!

Besides the fantastic hair, he’s wearing an extremely tight cropped leather jacket, a black scarf that covers the lower part of his face (which magnifies the coolness of the fact that his hair completely covers his eyes), a chain necklace adorned with large black square charms from Avan Trance, a shiny black top (and maybe a few other layers of black tops), torn and studded black jeans which he said were “handmade”, and black boots with holes in them that have been mended with rough stitching. His bag choice is a nice looking black leather backpack from Material Boy, and it’s hanging really low.

He said that his favorite fashion brands are Avan Trance and Lina Osterman, and that his favorite type of music is anison (animation songs / music from anime). Overall, we think his look is one of the coolest male looks that we’ve posted so far in 2010.

A stylish Japanese girl with cool makeup and beautiful multicolored hair on the street in Harajuku.

This 23-year-old Japanese girl caught our attention because of her beautiful hair and makeup as much as her cool fashion. She was photographed on Omotesando Dori in the Harajuku area of Tokyo. Her outfit consists of a knit sweater dress with oversized sleeves, a wild multicolored crochet or knit scarf with a cute stuffed mouse attached to it, black leggings that are ripped/cut on only one leg, and black shoes. Her purse is pearlescent with a vintage-looking cloth pocket on the outside and she’s got a pair of full-sized Panasonic headphones around her neck. Even the shopping bag that she’s carrying – with the big dollar sign on the side – looks cool.

Unfortunately, she didn’t have time to share all of the brands she’s wearing with us, but she did tell us that her favorite musical acts are Patrick Wolf and Dandi Wind.

Stylish Japanese fashion shop staff guy wearing a leather jacket by .efiLevol and Cosmic Wonder sneakers in Harajuku.

This stylish Japanese guy with an aqua/green colored streak in his hair was photographed in Harajuku. He told us that he works for the popular Japanese fashion select shop Rone. Rone is well known by fashionable Tokyoites because they carry some of the hippest fashion brands that you see on the street. Rone carries stuff for men and women, but more often than not we hear them mentioned as a favorite by men.

Back to the pictures, this guy’s outfit consists of a leather jacket from .efiLevol, a black shirt with a gold pattern, bold print pants from Bless, sneakers from Cosmic Wonder and a patchwork leather bag by Kaviar. When we asked him what his favorite shop is, he said, “Rone, check it out!” If you look at Rone website, you can actually see this guy modeling some of the fashion they sell. The site is all in Japanese, but there are a lot of pictures.

Two cute and smiley Japanese girls in Shibuya - one of them has nail art featuring Chopper from the manga One Piece.

We photographed these two cute Japanese girls near Shibuya Station in Tokyo. They are both wearing outfits that came mostly from the Japanese brand Co&Lu with some items possibly from the related brand CoCoLuLu by Co&Lu. The outfits consist of a stadium jacket, colorful sweaters, t-shirts, belts, jeans, sneakers, jewelry, bags, and – on one girl – a cap.

Even more eye-catching than the girls’ fashion is their nail art. One of the two has nail art featuring Tony Tony Chopper from the Japanese manga One Piece. The other girl wears nail art with lots of cute decora items like cupcakes and tiny cute characters. If you look at the three pictures at the bottom of the article, you can see closeups of the nail art of both girls.

A stylish Japanese guy in Harajuku wearing a leather biker jacket by Vinti Andrews & a handbag by the same designer.

This cool Japanese guy was photographed in Harajuku. He’s wearing a white leather biker jacket by UK designer Vinti Andrews with the British flag painted on one sleeve. The jacket says “Handmade and painted in London -Vinti xxx” just inside the front zipper. (The store price for these “Vinti” handmade jackets in Tokyo is around US$1000.)

Besides the jacket, he’s wearing a winter hat with furry ear flaps, a scarf that covers part of his face, a black & white patterned knit sweater layered over a white asymmetrical top, Banal Chic Bizarre skinny jeans, and black leather boots. His bag is a Vinti Andrews black leather & lace handbag with large metal spikes and a fox tail attached to it. Not sure the exact price on the bag, but similar Vinti Andrews bag we’ve seen here in Japan have retailed for over US$500.

He told us that his favorite fashion shops in Tokyo are Cannabis and Banal Chic Bizarre ADD and that his favorite type of music is PUNK!
