Harajuku Christmas – Omotesando Illumination Pictures 2013

Merry Christmas from Tokyo! Are you ready for the final Christmas photo walk of 2013? We’ve already walked down Takeshita Dori, covered Meiji Dori from Harajuku to Shibuya, cut across and walked the entirety of Cat Street, and even made a quick stop in Shibuya. Now it’s time to see what’s going on on Omotesando Dori, sometimes called the Champs-Elysees of Japan.

The Omotesando Dori illumination was on this year, so the trees along each side of the wide boulevard were covered in pretty lights. In addition to the illumination, many of the world’s top luxury brands have shops on Omotesando Dori. We did a walk up the street from Meiji Dori all the way to Aoyama Dori (on the Omotesando Hill side) and then crossed to the other side and walked back down to Meiji Dori. Near the end of our walk, we ran into a group of friendly Santa’s helpers who gave us lots of candy – making the whole walk even more worth it!

Enjoy the Omotesando Christmas pictures and have a wonderful holiday! Thank you for supporting Japanese fashion and we are looking forward to bringing you a lot more fashion – and fun – in 2014. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

  1. Great pictures again, (the other series also), maybe nice to also do them in mid-summer?

  2. I hope Tokyo had a wonderful Christmas. I just wish I could come to Tokyo, Japan. That would be awesome, to shop in Tokyo Japan. And maybe to shop in Tokyo Japan. Also I can’t wait for New Years to come.
    Happy holiday
