Harajuku Girl’s Vintage Fashion, Tattoo Tights & Platform Converse
Here’s an 18-year-old Japanese girl named Mamiko with a cute look that mixes vintage and resale fashion with modern Japanese brands. We met Mamiko on Cat Street near the new Nadia Harajuku boutique.
Mamiko is wearing a vintage cable knit cardigan from The Virgin Mary over a knit-and-sheer top (also from The Virgin Mary) over a vintage t-shirt, a tiered suspender skirt from Lowrys Farm, tattoo tights, and platform Converse sneakers from Nadia Harajuku. Accessories include a straw hat, a cute cookie earring, a handmade lace corsage/decoration from the indie Japanese brand MXE, and a canvas bag from the Tokyo resale shop Chicago.
