Harajuku Girls in Kimonos w/ Handmade Items & Dr. Martens

Pyon and Pachi are two students we met in Harajuku recently. They are wearing similar outfits with round glasses, hats and kimonos.

Pyon, pictured to the right, is 18 years old. She is wearing a vintage print kimono that’s handmade, tied with an obi and a belt, with an orange jacket from the Tokyo resale shop Chicago. Her faux fur clutch is also handmade, and she’s wearing black loafers. Pyon told us that she’s a fan of L’Arc~en~Ciel.

Pachi is 17 years old and she’s wearing a butterfly print kimono tied with an obi, as well as a printed jacket. She bought her satchel from Britain, and her red boots are Dr. Martens.
