Blonde Harajuku Girls in Monochrome Streetwear w/ Tom Ford, Margiela, Newrock & Handmade Fashion

It was difficult to miss Rio and Akari, whose blonde hair and modern monochrome street styles caught our eye on the streets of Harajuku.

On the right is 19-year-old student Ryo, who wore a blush pink button-down top from Tom Ford and a handmade dark denim long skirt. Her skirt featured a thigh-high slit detail that showed off her black socks and black Reebok sneakers. She completed her look with blonde shaggy hair, bright red lips, Leap accessories, and a navy oversized tote bag from MM6 Maison Margiela, which she names as her favorite fashion brand. For more on Ryo, follow her on Instagram.

Next to her is Akari, who stepped out in an all-black ensemble with an edge. The 18-year-old wore a sheer black top from Forever 21, which featured an off-the-shoulder design, a front zip closure, and sheer long sleeves, paired with her black flared skirt. She is was also wearing a Thrasher crossbody bag, and on her feet are chunky black Newrock platform shoes with silver buckles. Blonde hair, red lips, and accessories from Shop Biohazard and broken bone finished off her look. Akari often listens to music from Hanayo and Crystal Castles, and she posts social media updates on Instagram.
