Harajuku Guy in Vintage & Handmade Style

We spotted Kanji, whose eclectic style caught everyone’s attention on the streets of Harajuku.

The 17-year-old student stepped out in a striking ensemble that consisted of vintage and handmade pieces. He wore a black sleeveless shirt, a multicolored sleeveless button-down top, and a red skirt draped over black glitter pants. Kanji styled them with Prega white glitter-embellished lace-up sneakers, a silver chain with a key pendant, and layered necklaces that included silver chains, safety pins, and fringe details. He also wore a spiked headpiece and a red face mask for a dramatic flourish. His accessories are from Garb and Vivienne Westwood.

Kanji names Fecal Matter and Iris van Herpen as his fashion favorites, and he listens to music from Bump of Chicken and My First Story. Follow him on Instagram and Twitter.
