Harajuku Guy’s Jacket Made From Repurposed Pants

We spotted Omatase’s handmade style in Harajuku and asked him if we could take some photos. The 17-year-old high school student is wearing a unique repurposed jacket that’s patched together from several other garments, including sleeves that are made from pants. His nylon muffler is from Veveropparuuu.

Omatase is also wearing a black shirt and black leggings. His sneakers, which are worn with striped socks appliquéd with animal faces, are Reebok Pumps. His red backpack is from Adidas.

Omatase tweets on a pretty regular basis. If read Japanese you can follow him on Twitter.
