Catching our eye on the streets of Harajuku one evening are Takako and Masao, a couple whose colorful streetwear styles are regularly featured on our street snap photos.

Sporting a yellow Kangol ribbed cap, 48-year-old Masao is dressed in a character print hoodie jacket from A Bathing Ape x Sanrio, acid wash light denim pants with distressed details from RNA Media, and a red-and-white character print sneakers, also from A Bathing Ape x Sanrio. Meanwhile, purple-haired Takako stepped out in a Zetsumetsu Kigushu colorblock dress with cutout shoulders, which she wore over a white hoodie sweater. She styled her outfit with blue lace ruffle socks, character print sneakers from A Bathing Ape x Sanrio, and a pink JanSport backpack with badges and toy keychains rounded out Takako’s colorful ensemble. She embellished her style with accessories such as smiley face earrings, a blue 6%DokiDoki bow choker, and a handmade perler bead necklace with colorful hearts chain.
