Japanese Girl’s Short Black Hair, Red Lipstick, Leather Shorts & CassettePlaya

This stylish 18-year-old Japanese girl is Maki, a beauty school student we photographed on the street in Harajuku. The contrast between Maki’s short black hairstyle and her bright red lipstick caught our attention right away.

Maki’s outfit features a t-shirt printed with the text “Mm” from American Apparel, leather (or faux leather) shorts from the Sister boutique in Shibuya, and black leather boots with red laces (matching her lipstick). Her bone-print backpack is from CassettePlaya. Other accessories include multiple ear piercings with spike earrings, a black heart necklace, and a Rat Fink charm on her bag.
