Japanese Girl’s Original Fake Top, Joyrich x GIZA Dinosaur Bag & Suede Booties
Here’s a stylish Japanese girl named Gaochan who we ran into on the streets of Harajuku. Gaochan told us that she works in the apparel industry in Tokyo.
Gaochan’s outfit features a sleeveless top (with a print of the Kaws-designed circle-mouth logo of the Japanese brand Original Fake) which she picked up at Shibuya’s edgy boutique Candy, black stockings, pink socks, and black suede booties. Her accessories include Joyrich x GIZA (Mademoiselle Yulia) dinosaur-print bag with lots of charms attached, a polka dot hairband, an eyeball ring, a black wooden cross necklace, a metal spikes necklace, a bracelet with huge metal spikes, and a pair of colorful Skull Candy headphones.
Gaochan told us that her favorite places to shop in Tokyo are Candy, Galaxxxy, and Nadia. Her favorite musicians include two artists we’ve never had mentioned by any other person we’ve street snapped – the late electronic music pioneer Bruce Haack and the experimental composer Don Voegeli.
