While out and about on the streets of Harajuku one late afternoon, we came upon Fumidon and Kureha, two teens we often feature on our Harajuku street snaps. This day, they caught our eye with their monochrome hoodie streetwear styles.
At the left is Fumidon, a 20-year-old stylist. They are clad in a black hoodie jacket from Jil Sander, worn over a Uniqlo top. They donned a pair of black faux leather skinny pants from Rick Owens DRKSHDW, and stepped into tan distressed boots from Mihara Yasuhiro. Fumidon embellished their dark outfit with accessories – mostly from Ann Demeulemeester – such as layered black beaded rosary necklaces, a black leather cuff bracelet, a black bangle and a silver chain bracelet. Christopher Nemeth is Fumidon’s fashion favorite, and they enjoy listening to the music of Radwimps. For their social media updates, follow Fumidon on Instagram.
Meanwhile, purple-haired Kureha stepped out in a grey hoodie sweater with kangaroo pockets and zippered slit sides, which she wore over a white top with kanji prints at the back from Barragan. She also wore Phenomenon layered denim pants, which feature asymmetric cuffed hems, pleated skirt and shorts layers. Brown sneakers from Raf Simons x Adidas, a red grommet belt, and silver knuckle rings from Never Mind the Xu rounded out her style. Kureha lists Oh Pearl as her favorite fashion brand, and she is also active on Instagram.
