Japanese Street Style w/ New York Joe, Atereco, Gucci, Coach, Nadia, Burberry & Zara

In Harajuku, we met Raika and Aoi, who easily caught our eye with their vintage streetwear outfits.

At the left is Aoi, a 19-year-old New York Joe Shimokitazawa shop staff and buyer for Atereco. Aoi is clad in a black New York Joe velvet hoodie sweater, tucked into olive green trousers from Atereco and held up by a black leather belt with a vintage buckle. She is wearing platform velvet pointy-toed creepers from Nadia, with a Gucci crossbody bag slung across their shoulders. For accessories, they wore a Coach printed hat, a blue heart ring, and filigree earrings bought in Harajuku. Aoi’s favorite fashion labels are Pameo Pose and Vivienne Westwood. For her social media updates, follow Aoi on Twitter, Instagram, and Atereco’s official account.

Meanwhile, Raika – a 19-year-old student – is dressed in a plaid maxi coat from Burberry, which they styled with a white printed shirt worn on top of a Pameo Pose lace top with a ruched turtleneck feature. They paired their layered tops with a plaid pencil skirt, wore printed socks with teal tassel loafers, and carried a plaid crossbody bag from Burberry. Raika’s accessories – from Zara – include a plaid hair bow, large silver hoop earring, and a velvet choker with a dark red studded ribbon. Raika mentioned that they love the music of Japanese all-girl heavy metal idol band, Babymetal. Raika is also active on Instagram.
