Juria’s Lavender Hair, Choco Moo Tights & Tokyo Bopper in Harajuku

It’s Juria time! Juria Nakagawa is a lavender-haired 17-year-old Japanese high school student, a shop staff at AvantGarde Harajuku, and one of the most visible young faces in the Harajuku street fashion scene. To say that Juria is “everywhere” right now might be an understatement. When you see Juria in person, there is something about her look which makes her stand out completely from everyone else. She also has a very sweet/friendly personality. Put those two things together, and you may just have the makings of Tokyo’s next street fashion star.

Juria is wearing an oversized jacket from the Harajuku vintage/resale shop Kinsella over a lace top from Bubbles, short shorts from American Apparel, white Mam x Choco Moo “OMG” tights, and white Tokyo Bopper platform boots. Accessories – many of which came from Bubbles Harajuku – include a flower headband, a choker, a star necklace, a necklace with purple hearts, a tattoo bracelet, a leather bracelet with a star emblem, and a large vintage leather backpack.

Juria told us that her favorite shop is Bubbles and, as far as music, her favorite band is Hole right now. If you’d like to know more about her – or to see more pictures of Juria – you can follow her on Twitter and/or Tumblr.

  2. Juria is so beautiful! *O*

I’m in love with her necklaces and bracelets… and very few people can look this good wearing a flower headband!

  3. Yayy juria! I love her style, her hair is especially gorgeous ( ;´Д`)(^_^)☆

  4. Why is everyone copying older gens styles now ?

    It’s getting a BIT uncreative ?

  5. Can I just say?
    I FREAKING LOVE JURIA
She’s like everything I want to be.
Her look reminds me of a cross between Lisa and Ikeda Hirari!

    Wow! (。♥‿♥。)
I really love the accessories and the backpack!

But honestly, the thing I love the most is her hair. It’s so pretty!

  7. The brands and shops and the way she puts everything together is an exact representation of the most recent “fashion boom” in Harajuku. It can’t really get more Harajuku right NOW than this. That’s not to say everyone dresses like this, but this style is the biggest recent influence I think! Will be interesting to see what Harajuku creates/takes on next..

  8. The cute couple in the background holding hands and wearing bandanas around there necks. ^.^

  9. The outfit is almost perfect~ I would only change boots, it qould be better if they were black. But i like it :)
