Juria Nakagawa & Mai w/ Pink Hair & Avantgarde Harajuku Tights
Here are Juria and Mai, two stylish girls who we ran into on the street in Harajuku. Pink-haired Juria Nakagawa definitely stands out of the crowd, and she caught our eye right away. Juria has been a rising Harajuku star lately – as her street snaps are published in a number of popular Japanese fashion magazines.
Juria – 16 years old and a student – is wearing a jacket from the Harajuku resale shop Kinsella over a top from Grimoire, a skirt from Bubbles Harajuku, white stockings, and white platform shoes from Tokyo Bopper. Accessories include a corset (or corset top), lots of earrings (a safety pin, heart, cross, and more), a scarf, heart-shaped sunglasses, and a vintage leather backpack from Kinsella. Mai – a fashion industry professional – is wearing a jacket from Seta Ichiro over an Acne top, cropped H&M pants, stockings from Mam Avantgarde, and high heels. Mai told us that her favorite shop is also Avantgarde Harajuku.
Note: Juria’s name could also be spelled “Julia Nakagawa” (and we’ve seen it written that way on Tumblr), but she herself writes it as “Juria”, so we are going with her spelling.
