When we spotted these two girls wearing kawaii Japanese fashion on the street in Harajuku, we knew we had to ask them for snaps. Luckily, they were both nice enough to agree.
The girl with half pink, half green twin tails is Sebone. Her pastel dress is from Liz Lisa, paired with a white harness and ABC Mart ribbon sneakers. Accessories – some of which came from Spank! Tokyo and 6%DokiDoki – include a headband, horse earring, star necklace, Onegai My Melody purse, plastic rings and bracelets, a plush backpack and white fishnet stockings. Sebone likes the kawaii Japanese brand Angelic Pretty, and she’s a fan of Ali Project. Find out more from her Twitter and Instagram accounts.
Rikarin – on the left with short lilac hair – is a 19-year-old English-speaking student. She is wearing layered tops from MarpleQ and Forever21 with zebra print Kinji Harajuku pants. Her backpack is MCM and her shoulder bag is from the 100 yen shop. She is also wearing white platforms bought on Takeshita Dori and accessories from 6%DokiDoki and Cosmic Magicals – including a camera ring, colorful necklaces, and earrings. Rikarin told us her favorite shop is 6%DokiDoki and her favorite band is Dempagumi.Inc. Visit her Twitter and Instagram accounts for more info.
