Pleated Skirt, Leather Jacket & Fifi Chachnil Bag in Harajuku

Asami is a stylish and friendly 19-year-old student who we see around Harajuku often. Her style has been influential on the newest generation of Harajuku kids.

Asami is wearing a Zara quilted leather jacket over an Olympia Le-Tan graphic top, a pleated white skirt from American Apparel, and Jeffrey Campbell shoes with wooden platforms. Her unique bag is from the Paris brand Fifi Chachnil.

@Hikari-no-Hana When we talk about “generations” of Harajuku kids, we just mean the new group of kids that shows up every year. The school year in Japan officially changes in March/April, but the new kids appear over the course of the year. This year, Asami and her twin brother (Devil aka Yusuke Hida) have both been style icons for the younger (16-17 year old) kids showing up in Harajuku. Generations in Harajuku are very quick because people come and go quickly here.
