Red & Black Comme des Garcons Tokyo Streetwear Styles

Yoshiaki and Satoko made quite the impression with their color-coordinated ensembles while on a casual day out in Harajuku.

On the left is Yoshiaki in a bright red blazer from Comme des Garçons Homme Plus with a front button closure, frayed trims, and red plaid panels. The 22-year-old student wore it over a white ruffle button-down top and black wide-leg cropped pants – both of which are from Comme des Garçons Homme Plus. Yoshiaki kept up the red-and-black motif with red stockings, black socks, and Comme des Garçons Homme Plus black leather lace-up shoes with low heels, contrasting plaid panels, and a pointy-toe silhouette. He also carried a Comme des Garçons black leather handbag with plaid panels. Accessories from Loewe and Comme des Garçons Play completed his look. Yoshiaki’s favorite fashion brand is Comme des Garçons, and he posts style updates on Instagram.

Next to him is 22-year-old Satoko, who works in retail. She wore a Comme des Garçons black deconstructed jacket over a vintage Otoe sheer black top with long sleeves and polka dots. Satoko styled them with a bright red deconstructed skirt from Comme des Garçons, black stockings, black socks, and Tokyo Bopper black platform shoes. Bright red lips, black earrings, and cropped hair adorned with hair clips provided the finishing touches to her look. As for her favorites, Satoko loves popular footwear shop Tokyo Bopper and Japanese pop singer Kaela Kimura. Follow her on both Instagram and Twitter.
