Rii & Maho (+ Riho) Wearing White Cable Knit Sweaters in Harajuku

Here are two people who many of you will recognize – the two-and-only Rii & Maho – and a friend of theirs named Riho. We already called a trend on white cable knit sweater this winter in Tokyo. Rii & Maho are here to show you how to wear them for the maximum effect!

In case you haven’t met them already, Rii & Maho are often seen together on the streets of Harajuku. They are featured in our brand new Christmas in Harajuku video. Also, Rii recently appeared with Kyary in the Table of Dreams Featuring Kyary Pamyu Pamyu Christmas exhibition in Tokyo.

Rii & Maho’s friend Riho (on the left) is wearing a vintage dress over a white Beams top, a blue double-breasted coat, tights, and blue suede Randa heels. Accessories include a cute hat and a bag from Marc by Marc Jacobs. Riho’s favorite brands include United Arrows and Ships. Her favorite musicians include Pink, Lady Gaga, and Christina Aguilera. For more info on Riho, check out her personal blog.

Rii (in the middle) is wearing a resale over-sized white cable knit sweater dress, print stockings (but she has a real tattoo under the stockings as well), ruffle socks, and Tokyo Bopper platform shoes. Accessories include a white furry hat, cute ribbon hair bows, a pink cross necklace, a “Manic Panic” button, a Nadia Harajuku button, and a cloth bag from Muji. Rii’s favorite shop is Nadia and her favorite band is Kegawa no Maries. For more info on Rii, check her blog!

Maho’s outfit features a resale white cable knit sweater, a tulle skirt from New York Joe, white tights, cherry-print socks, and platform shoes from Tokyo Bopper. Accessories include the cute plush panda who she calls her “friend”, a ribbon bow tie, an “I Love Boy” hair clip from Bon Bijou, and a bag (which you can’t see) from Theatre Products. Maho’s favorite shops/brands include Nadia, American Apparel, and Vivienne Westwood. Her favorite band is Sōtaisei Riron. Take a look at Maho’s blog if you’d like to see more pictures of her!
