Shibuya Pair w/ Retro Hairstyle, Acid Wash & Facial Piercings

Here is a cool Japanese pair with vintage Americana-inspired styles who we crossed paths with in Shibuya. The fact that they each have a single facial piercing – his a labret, hers a pierced eyebrow – is what first caught our attention.

The girl – with a retro/rockabilly hairstyle – is wearing a currently-trendy vintage acid wash denim jacket over a gray belted dress with a bunched collar, stockings, sparkly socks, and Vans sneakers. Her black purse is decorated with a cute character charm.

The guy – with long hair and a beard – is wearing a hoodie from the Japanese brand Dozen One with baggy jeans and boots. Accessories include several silver rings (one that features a Mexican-style “Lady of Guadalupe” design) from the Japanese brand RADIALL, and a chain wallet, hat, and glasses.

  1. Wearing those oversized acid washed jackets even good (small and slender) body shapes are always looking somehow unproportional and ruined. I call this gorilla-shape (broard shoulder parts, way too long arms…). Not really becoming. A jacket for boxing champions, american footballerrs and wrestlers only. Just my 2 C.
