Kaede is a friendly 17-year-old girl we met on the street in Harajuku. Her Twitter bio says “Wanna be mermaid” and her hair color somehow reminded us of a mermaid when we spotted her!

Kaede is wearing a handmade shirt with a design of Sulley from Monsters Inc, an H&M miniskirt, lace socks, and Jeffrey Campbell “Skate” wooden platforms. Accessories include a pearl cross necklace from the Japanese brand Jouetie, a Monsters Inc hair clip, and a blue metallic clutch from Forever21.
