Summer-themed Harajuku Party “Pop N Cute” Coming August 11, 2012

The 3rd “Pop N Cute” Harajuku fashion, music & art party will be held in Tokyo on Saturday, August 11. 2012. Like the two previous events (Pop N Cute #1 & Pop N Cute #2), the Summer Pop N Cute party lineup is packed with kawaii fashion shows and performers – including live painting by Kera Magazine model Kurebayashi and a special kimono styling show by Kumamiki.

Junnyan from Harajuku Fashion Walk asked us to share the following Pop N Cute introduction and invitation with everyone who’s interested in Harajuku fashion:

“Pop N Cute”, which will be held on Saturday, August 11, is a spin-off event of Harajuku Fashion Walk.

The Harajuku Fashion Walk is a bi-monthly event, where people who enjoy fashion dress up in their style of choice and walk together throughout the streets of Harajuku.

Thinking, “Can’t we do something fun?”, we sprang from the streets of Harajuku to a Live House. That’s it. That’s “Pop N Cute.”

The “Pop N Cute” event itself consists of live concerts, live-painting, fashion shows, dance performances, and DJ sessions… But wait, there’s more! There’s even a sweets table! Each and every time all this excitement is captured on film by various media.

The entirety of the event, every moment is product of raw atmosphere. However, I believe it is this atmosphere itself which is the most wonderful point of this event.

Is there any other event in Tokyo where real street fashion kids gather in one place?

It’s this atmosphere itself that is the main dish of the event! The many performers give it taste. It’s a wonderful atmosphere. And don’t forget to take a look around at all the outfits within the Live House. You’re sure to be surprised!
