Suspender Skirt & Tokyo Bopper vs. Platform Sandals & Ungaro in Harajuku

Ayaka and Ai are two students we snapped recently on the streets of Harajuku. They both wore designer backpacks and dark colors when we met. You might remember Ayaka from her previous Harajuku snaps.

Ayaka is the taller one, and she’s 18. She is wearing a suspender skirt from Toga over a white tee. Her backpack is Chanel, but she’s also carrying a plain black tote. We also noticed her velvet headband, Topshop heart and star necklaces, and a Jeremy Scott neon watch. Her ankle strap suede platform shoes are Tokyo Bopper, worn here with colorful socks. Ayaka told us her favorite store is Topshop, and she gave us her new Twitter account.

Ai studies at Bunka Fashion College and she’s 19. She’s wearing a Vivienne Westwood t-shirt with a printed skirt, and her Kinsella jacket is tied at the waist. Her backpack is Emanuel Ungaro, and her platform sandals (which she’s wearing with socks) are k3&co. She’s also wearing a heart choker and cap, which she got at Pin Nap.
