Japanese Fashion Brand Tender Person “#90” Collection

Tender Person is a Japanese fashion brand founded by Bunka Fashion College student Yuto Yashige. The brand’s concept is “The pursuit of simplicity, with beauty and sensitivity”.

We first met Yuto several years ago on the streets of Harajuku. As with others who we’ve met while doing street snaps in Harajuku, we have followed with interest Yuto’s evolution into a young fashion designer. Yuto released his first “Tender Person” collection last year. This summer, he debuted his second collection with an exhibition at Harajuku’s famous Dog boutique.

“#90” is the name of Tender Person’s second collection. The designer explains the inspiration of the collection like this (our translation):

Influenced by trainspotting, this collection is like a “Back to the Future” time machine to 1994, recreating the history of street sports, HIPHOP, sk8, Harajuku, resale fashion, rappers, graffiti, grunge, Paris collections, and more.

If you’d like to know more about Tender Person, check out the brand’s Official Website, Online Store, or find them on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook.
