Vintage & Handmade Japanese Street Styles w/ Kimono Coat & Sequin Dress

We met 18-year-old students Rionnu and Oiwa near the entrance of Bunka Fashion College in Tokyo. They stood out with their colored hair, bold hues, and mixed prints.

On the left is Rionnu in a vintage red-and-black printed kimono overcoat. Under it she wore a white top with a high ruffle neckline and billowy long sleeves peeking out from her coat. She styled them with layered printed tops, vintage red-and-black printed pants with a wide-legged silhouette, and a silver chain around her waist. Rionnu completed her look with towering black platform shoes from YRU, a Yaoya bag, green hair, a bold red lip, and handmade accessories. She considers YRU as a fashion favorite and Super Dragon as her favorite musical artist. Follow Rionnu on Instagram and Twitter.

Next to her is Oiwa in a pink sequined dress over a white lace top with a ruffle neckline from H&M. She styled them with a blue overcoat from Epic, which featured a contrasting white lace lining. Oiwa also wore GU silver boots with side zip closures, block heels, and a pointy-toe silhouette. She completed her look with a furry tiara, twin tails, glossy red lips, gold heart earrings, and a silver necklace with a heart pendant. Oiwa enjoys listening to music from Hello! Project, and she is active on both Instagram and Twitter.
