Vintage-Loving Harajuku Girl w/ Braids, Long Dress & Platforms
Here’s a stylish 19-year-old Japanese student named Ayame who we street-snapped in Harajuku. Her bangs-and-double-braid hairstyle was one of the things about her look which initially caught our attention.
Ayame is a fan of vintage fashion. Both her cropped jacket and long lace-trimmed dress were picked up at Tokyo vintage/resale shops. Her platform shoes are from Harajuku’s Tokyo Bopper. Accessories include a black-lace-and-ribbon-flowers hair band, a pearl necklace with a vintage locket, a vintage pocket watch worn as a necklace, a tiny silver bow ring, and an antique-newspaper-and-lace ribbon attached to a leather school bag.
Ayame told us that her favorite fashion brand is Innocent World.
