X-Girl Japan x Vans Sk8-Hi and Authentic Sneakers

On July 25, the Japanese brand X-Girl will release their latest collaboration with Vans footwear. The summer 2009 X-Girl x Vans releases are a Sk8-Hi and a Vans Authentic, both covered in X-Girl’s trademark Rainbow Star and logo pattern. These limited release shoes are part of the X-Girl “Happy 15th” anniversary celebration.

While the new models won’t be available for sale until later this month, X-Girl has setup a display outside of LaForet Harajuku to allow sneaker fans an early preview.

The X-Girl x Vans Sk8-Hi is black with a pink side stripe, the Rainbow Star print on the side panels, a pink outsole, and white and pink laces. The Authentic is black with Rainbow Stars all over, pink lace eyelets, and a pink waffle outsole. The laces for the Authentics are white and green.

The Sk8-Hi will be priced at 12,600 yen (US$130) and the Authentics at 10,290 yen (US$110). They will both be available in Japanese sizes 23-28, including half sizes. If you’re interested in buying a pair, these shoes will be available in all of the X-Girl shops in Japan, as well as from the official X-Girl online store starting at 11am on July 25, 2009
