Disney & Mario Bros vs. Ralph Lauren & Uniqlo

Here are two Bunka Fashion College students that we photographed in Harajuku. The guy on the right is 19-year-old Kento. He’s wearing a long Ralph Lauren t-shirt over a striped Uniqlo top and black skinny pants from a resale shop. His jeans-style denim bag is from Lee.

Kento is also wearing red polka dot socks with leopard print George Cox shoes. His accessories include a gold ring from Tsumori Chisato.

The girl on the left in head-to-toe red is 18-year-old Aki. We see Aki around Harajuku quite often and she is always really fun! Her outfit includes a red jacket with a Disney print from Kinji, a polka dot top from a local shop and loose red pants from Panama Boy. Her skull-and-bones backpack is from Outdoor Products.

Aki’s accessories from monomania, Bubbles and other shops include a red hat, a red plastic necklace, a Radiwimps button, some small toys on her backpack and several rings. Her Mario Bros sneakers are from Converse.

Aki told us that her favorite fashion sources are Vivienne Westwood, Yohji Yamamoto and Limi Feu. Her favorite music is by Radiwimps.
