Harajuku Duo in Kimono Jackets, Resale Fashion & Platform Boots

Akina and Mikoto are two 18-year-old college students who caught our eye on the street in Harajuku.

Akina – on the left with twin tails – is wearing a resale kimono sleeve top over a pink resale top, an Eastboy skirt, and tall Buffalo platforms. Accessories – some of which came from a flea market – include a headband, necklace, and East Pak backpack. Akina’s favorite designer is Jenny Fax and she likes the 1980s band Culture Club. Mikoto is wearing a long black kimono coat he picked up resale over an H&M graphic top, layered bottoms from GU and SWAG, and Dr. Martens boots. Accessories include various rings, a choker, and a spikes necklace. Mikoto’s favorite designer designer is John Galliano and his favorite musician is Skrillex.
