HEIHEI Harajuku Girls in Plaid Streetwear Styles w/ Blazer, Plaid Skirt Dress, Veil Berets & Yosuke

While taking a stroll along the streets of Harajuku, we came across Ruan and Misaki. They work with the independent Japanese streetwear brand HEIHEI. HEIHEI has a shop in Harajuku, so we often see these two young women around the streets.

At the left is Ruan – also from the musical group Dempa Shonen CQ (電影と少年CQ) – who stepped out in a HEIHEI button down dress featuring a grey pinstripe blazer top with plaid sleeve detailings, multicolored buttons and a brown plaid skirt section with a ruffled hem. The 18-year-old staffer wore a HEIHEI graphic print shirt with a ruffled mock neck collar underneath the dress, and finished off her ensemble with black socks, black Nike Air Max sneakers, and a mustard yellow HEIHEI beret with a birdcage veil detail at the back. Ruan’s fashion favorite is HEIHEI, and she likes the music of Yoko Nagisa. Follow Ruan on Twitter and Instagram for more of her info.

Meanwhile, 19-year-old Misaki is also clad in a similar dress from HEIHEI, but with a tan-and-red plaid skirt color. She added a black top with white ruffled mock neck collar from HEIHEI under her dress, and completed her ensemble with white ribbed socks and black platform creepers from Yosuke. Misaki swept her hair up in twin braided buns, and rounded out her outfit with a red beret with a birdcage veil – also from HEIHEI – and multiple silver hoop earrings. Misaki told us she likes the music of Creephyp, and she is also active on Instagram.
