Minimal Fashion w/ Yohji Yamamoto, A.P.C. & Man of Moods

Taiga and Takashi are two 19 year olds – both wearing monochrome, contrasting outfits – that we met in Shinjuku. Their styles peaked our curiosity, so we decided to find out more about each of them.

Taiga is the one in black, and he’s a student. His outfit is almost entirely made of Yohji Yamamoto pieces, including pants, shirt, a wrapped around coat and lace up boots. Yohji Yamamoto is his favorite designer, and he told us that Mr. Children is his favorite band.

Takashi is a Bunka Fashion College student, here dressed in gray. His favorite brand is Trove, so he’s wearing over the knee shorts and a matching zippered jacket from their shop. His white button down shirt is A.P.C and his lace up boots are from Man of Moods. Takashi accessorized with a leather bracelet and a golden ring. He told us his favorite music is the girl group Nogizaka46.
