Pink-Haired Girl’s Handmade Dress, Tassel Necklace & I Am I Flats in Harajuku

Here’s a 20-year-old Japanese fashion student who told us that her name is tme. We met tme on the street in Harajuku, where the pink streak in her bangs (as well as the pink coloring in her braid) caught our attention.

TME’s dress is handmade and features a vintage floral pattern (like something we might find in a dolly kei outfit) contrasted with light blue sleeves and tiered collars. Her accessories (at least one of which came from Tsumori Chisato) include a cloth hair tie, a large tassel necklace (another element we commonly see in dolly kei fashion), a silver bracelet, a wide belt with a large buckle, and flats from the Japanese brand I am I (printed with the words “Yes and “No”). Her purse is a resale Holland America Cruise Line bag that’s been customized with lace.
