Avant-Garde Tokyo Streetwear Styles w/ Handmade Fashion, TKM6006@, Rowan, Venom, Rick Owens & Colorful Skull Face Mask

Standing out on the Harajuku street one evening are Kanji Kyouda and TKM®freedom, two teens sporting creative avant-garde streetwear styles.

At the left we have TKM®freedom, the 21-year-old fashion designer of his own brand, TKM6006@. He stepped out in a floral brocade zipper vest with see-through panels from TKM6006@ and styled it with a black paint-splattered cutout sweatshirt from Venom. He donned black wide-leg denim flare pants with red ripped details from Rowan, and paired it with black lace-up sneakers from Rick Owens. A black EXIT beanie with silver chain clips, a gold tassel earring, a single white fur glove and a black mask with red kanji print completed his ensemble, along with his blue eye makeup and tattoos. His accessories are also from his own brand, TKM®6006. For more of his extreme and statement-making street styles, follow TKM®freedom on Instagram and Twitter. Also, check out his brand’s own official account on Instagram.

Meanwhile, catching our eye with his all pink avant-garde style is Kanji. The 18-year-old student is dressed in a handmade marshmallow-like ensemble, which consists of a sheer pink ribbed kaftan top with wide flared sleeves, sheer pink shorts with tan stockings and handmade foam shoes, and multiple pink-and-white marshmallow-like structures from his head down the front. Sheer beige glitter fabrics hang from his waist. Finishing off his statement streetwear style is a colorful skull mask from Dog Harajuku and badges from RRR By Sugar Spot Factory. Kanji’s fashion favorite is Iris Van Herpen, and he is also active on Twitter and Instagram.
