Colorful Japanese Avant-Garde Street Fashion w/ Dog Harajuku, Handmade Items & Demonia
Meet Sakuran an 17-year-old student who loves gracing the streets of Harajuku with her colorful handmade and remake avant-garde fashion outfits.
Today, Sakuran’s look consists of a white mandarin collar blouse underneath a Dog Harajuku multi-print long sleeve top with one slit sleeve showcasing a ribbed arm warmer. Her handmade layered skirt is made up of floral prints, a sewn-in kanji print t-shirt, and neon nettings attached with safety pins. She completed her style with black platform boots from Demonia, a drawstring backpack, an Adidas satchel backpack, and accessories – some from Fuki Nishiya – such as a multi-color knit headpiece tied at her chin, an o-ring leather choker, and a black grommet belt to go along with her two-tone partially shaved hair and avant-garde makeup styling.
Popular streetwear brand, Dog Harajuku is Sakuran’s go-to fashion label, and she likes the music of Japanese synth-pop group, Denki Groove. For more of her avant-garde fashion styles, follow Sakuran on Instagram.
