Fashion Designers w/ Colorful Hairstyles in Handmade & Vintage Harajuku Street Styles
We caught up with Niku, Wuma, and Vinci – three fierce designers showcasing contrasting street styles while out in Harajuku.
On the left is Niku with multiple piercings and colorful hair and makeup. She donned a Jaded pink-and-green sweatshirt with long sleeves and contrasting checkerboard print. Niku also wore lime green track pants with contrasting black stripes on the sides. She styled them with green-and-black socks, platform wedge sandals, and a vintage backpack. In the middle is Wuma, who wore a pink Led Zeppelin graphic tee over a vintage pink long-sleeved top. She tucked them into vintage purple denim shorts with distressed details and frayed hems. Wuma styled her look with pale pink printed knee socks, white fuzzy slippers, and handmade accessories. She finished off her look with blonde twin braids, a bold red lip, and a handmade bag with a chain shoulder strap. Her fashion favorite is Dog Harajuku, and she loves listening to funk and reggae music. Follow Wuma on Instagram for social media updates.
Finally, blue-haired Vinci dressed up in a Sagi Dolls black dress with long sleeves, front button closures, a drawstring waist, and shoulder cut-out details. They styled them with white socks and Dr. Martens black leather lace-up shoes. A Vivienne Westwood black leather bag and ACC accessories rounded out their look. Vinci often turns to Vivienne Westwood and Sankuanz for their fashion needs. They also enjoy music from The Strobes, Sheena Ringo, and Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. Follow Vinci on Instagram.
