Gothic and Colorful Street Styles w/ Atelier BOZ, Jean Paul Gaultier, Tokyo Bopper, Luna Mattino, San To Nibun No Ichi, Kinji & Yoshida Beads
Meet students Hazuki and Erina, whose contrasting styles stood out on the streets of Harajuku.
On the left is 20-year-old Hazuki, who opted for a gothic look. She wore a vintage sheer black turtleneck top under a black dress from Atelier BOZ. Her dress featured a square neckline, cut-out shoulders, and a lace-up detail on each bell sleeve. Hazuki accessorized with multiple ear piercings and a chain necklace from Luna Mattino. Strapped across her chest is a black leather bag from Jean Paul Gaultier with the logo emblazoned on a metal plate in front. She finished off her look with dark red lips for a pop of color, a sleek updo with blunt bangs, and black leather platform shoes with side zip closures and multiple straps from Tokyo Bopper.
Hazuki loves listening to music from X-Japan and Hide. She is active on both Instagram and Twitter.
Meanwhile, green-haired Erina provided a stark contrast to Hazuki’s all-black ensemble with her eclectic mix of colors and prints. She wore a light purple striped graphic top from San To Nibun No Ichi, which she kept unbuttoned to show off her Bed.Vintage top. The 19-year-old styled them with a green tutu over a leopard-printed skirt from Kinji. She cinched her whole outfit with a transparent belt, which featured contrasting yellow stripes and a white circular buckle. Erina styled her look with dangling earrings, a necklace with large white pearls, a multicolored fanny pack from Kinji, and a white hat with a purple tulle trim. Her accessories are from Yoshida Beads. Blue knee socks with contrasting yellow lettering and a pair of clear jelly shoes with buckled ankle straps and block heels capped off her eclectic ensemble.
Erina counts Jenny Fax and Mikio Sakabe as her fashion favorites. For more on Erina, follow her on Instagram.
