Handmade Avant-Garde Harajuku Street Style
Meet Sakuran, whose head-turning ensemble and avant-garde street fashion caught everyone’s attention in Harajuku.
The 17-year-old student stepped out in an ensemble that consisted of head-to-toe handmade items. From the plastic black spikes and black grommet belt worn as a headpiece down to her black platform wedge shoes. Sakuran also wore a deconstructed top and blue jean skirt cinched at the waist with a black leather grommet belt. Bright red track pants with white stripes on the sides were worn as knee socks. Sakuran carried a printed black leather bag and wore remake accessories. Pink-and-green hair, pink makeup, and a septum ring provided the finishing touches to her look.
