Harajuku Girls in Vintage & Handmade Streetwear Styles & Round Glasses

Making quite the impression on the streets of Harajuku were Kusanagi and Kanemura. They stepped out in contrasting ensembles that featured vintage and handmade pieces.

On the left is Kusanagi, who donned a vintage blue-and-pink checkered jacket. The system engineer wore it over a pale blue dress, which featured long sleeves, a front button closure, and contrasting white collar and cuffs. Kusanagi styled them with Boisson Chocolat black lace-up shoes with contrasting striped panels. She also wore Merry-Go-Round dark blue tights with a moon-and-stars graphic print. A brown bob with bangs, round glasses with a beaded strap, and handmade accessories completed her look. Kusanagi enjoys listening to music from Have a Nice Day! and is active on both Instagram and Twitter.

Meanwhile, Kanemura dressed up in a black-and-red ensemble. The part-time worker wore a vintage black kimono over a handmade top styled with a black rope harness. Kanemura also wore black pants, a black hat, a black buckled boot on the left, and a red buckled boot on the right. Strapped across her chest is a handmade yellow printed bag with a dark blue shoulder strap and a dark blue leather front flap. She finished off her look with a black leather satchel, red sunglasses with gold frames, and handmade accessories. Kanemura’s favorite musical artists include Metronome, Backdrop Cinderella, and Sukekiyo. Follow her on Twitter for her social media updates.
