Harajuku Girls in Matching Plaid Street Styles by Japanese Fashion Brand HEIHEI

It was difficult to miss Ruan and Mami, 18-year-olds whose multicolored plaid outfits caught our eye in Harajuku. They definitely turned heads in their coordinating looks with pieces from the Japanese streetwear brand HEIHEI, where they both work.

On the right is Mami in an orange plaid top with blue short sleeves and yellow trims from HEIHEI. She also wore a HEIHEI blue-and-purple plaid skirt that had a contrasting sheer black floral panel with ruffle tiers. Mami styled them with black-and-white frill socks and red Tokyo Bopper shoes with white platform wedges and floral appliqués. Strapped on one shoulder is a HEIHEI plaid bag. She finished off her look with twin buns and a plaid beret. Mami gets her fashion inspiration from HEIHEI and often posts social media updates on Instagram.

Meanwhile, Ruan donned a HEIHEI yellow plaid top with dark orange short sleeves and light orange trims. Like Mami, Ruan also wore a slightly similar HEIHEI multicolored plaid skirt but with a contrasting sheer white floral panel. The student and Denei To Shonen CQ styled them with red socks, George Cox white creepers, and a HEIHEI plaid bag strapped on one shoulder. Her sleek hair was swept up in twin tails with blunt bangs and red plaid ribbons. Bright red lips and HEIHEI accessories provided the finishing touches to her look. Ruan gets her style inspiration from HEIHEI, and she enjoys listening to music from Nature Danger Gang. For more on Ruan, follow her on both Instagram and Twitter.
