Harajuku Girls Matching Vintage Plaid Street Styles by Florida Shimokitazawa, Kangol, Santa Monica & Tokyo Bopper
While out on the streets of Harajuku one fine evening, we came upon these two girls whose matching plaid street styles caught our attention.
At the left is Mayu – an 18-year-old staffer at the vintage shop Florida Shimokitazawa – sporting a short curly bob. She’s wearing a white long sleeve shirt with a scalloped lace collar trim from Florida Shimokitazawa. She styled her blouse with a red plaid sleeveless dress and cinched her waist with a black skinny belt. Sheer polka-dot socks, black ballet flats bought online, and a black leather satchel sling bag from Kangol completed her outfit. Accessories from Kinji such as silver hoop earrings and a silver knuckle ring are the finishing touches to her style. Kinji and Santa Monica are two of Mayu’s favorite brands, and she likes the music of King & Prince. For more of her styles, follow Mayu on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Mayu – a Florida Harajuku staff – is also dressed in a red plaid dress from Florida Shimokitazawa, which she styled with a white long sleeve blouse with ruffled cuffs and a layered ruffle neck bow detail and layered with a blue plaid dress panel. She cinched her dress with a leopard print chain belt, put on white socks, and slid into grey Tokyo Bopper sneakers. Accessories – from Florida Harajuku, Santa Monica Harajuku and Kilo Shop Laforet – include round eyeglasses, the belt, wrap bracelets and colorful knuckle rings. In addition, Mayu is carrying a canvas tote bag from Santa Monica Harajuku. She lists Santa Monica and San To Nibun No Ichi as her fashion favorites, and she listens to K-pop music and Sebastian X.
