Harajuku Monochrome Streetwear Styles w/ Handmade Ruffle Top, Balloon Skirt, Muchacha Cat Purse, Demonia Platforms, Striped Tunic & Y-3 Sneakers
We are always happy to meet designer Saruda “Kung Kunita” Nimpitakpong and Chinachan on one of their frequent trips to Tokyo. This Thai couple loves Harajuku culture, and organizes the popular Japan Expo Thailand event.
At the left is Saruda sporting long ash blonde fringed hair. She stepped out in a handmade outfit, which consists of an oversized polka dot print top with ruffles, paired with a balloon skirt in matching polka dot print. She styled her outfit with a black furry infinity scarf, graphic religious print stockings, white lace socks and white platform shoes from Demonia. In addition, the designer is toting a gold chain-strap cat print purse from Muchacha.
Meanwhile, Chinachan is dressed in a vintage/remake faux leather graphic print blazer, worn over a striped tunic top with a ruffled hem panel, and a long black pleated skirt. Black sneakers from Yohji Yamamoto’s Y-3 rounded out his minimalist style.
