Harajuku Steampunk Kimono Styles w/ Hazy Moon Steamory, Excentrique, Shobuan & Massaging Capsule
Bringing a steampunk flavor to Harajuku street fashion were Liz and Bishoujo, whose striking looks caught everyone’s attention.
On the left is Liz, a shoemaking student wearing her grandmother’s maroon silk kimono. She wore it with a white high-necked top and a dark brown hakama skirt, which were cinched with a dark brown leather corset from Excentrique and a harness from Hazy Moon Steamory. Peaking out from her kimono are brown-gray long sleeves with lace-up details. Her accessories include a handmade bag and chain necklaces with large pendants. A pair of black leather boots with high block heels and a black bob with blunt bangs finished off her look. Her favorite fashion brands include Bottega Veneta, BCBG Max Azria, and Alexander McQueen. She also loves listening to Sarah Brightman, Hibari Misora, and songs from musicals. For more on Liz, follow her on Instagram and Twitter.
Meanwhile, model and steampunk creator Bishoujo wore a black Shobuan kimono with black kendo hakama pants. Like Liz, he also wore a dark brown corset from Excentrique and an orange harness from Hazy Moon Steamory. Also from Hazy Moon Steamory are his goggles, bracelet, and keychain. Adding to his accessories are white arm corsets from Massaging Capsule. Layered necklaces, chains, a multicolored scarf, and black leather boots rounded out his look. Bishoujo likes shopping at Ozz On, GGD, Alice Auaa, and Abilletage. He also enjoys music from Showa Denki, Bonnie Pink, Denki Groove, and Bjork. Bishoujo posts social media updates on Instagram and Twitter. To keep up with his work, follow Hazy Moon Steamory and his other Twitter account.
