Harajuku Trio’s Minimalist Street Styles w/ Kiss, Converse, Toga, Skin, Yohji Yamamoto, Funktique & Anki

While out taking a stroll along the streets of Tokyo one early evening, we came across this trio of teens whose minimalist streetwear outfits caught our eye.

At the left is Taiki, a 20-year-old who works in the apparel industry. He is clad in a black denim jacket from Kiss, which he wore over a light blue Skin v-neck collar shirt with contrasting black trims, tucked into vintage black pants and paired with white socks and white Converse sneakers. His only accessory is a tan leather belt. Taiki’s favorite brand is Vans, and he likes the music of the Japanese hip hop group, The Otogibanashi’s. Taiki is active on Instagram.

Sporting curly bangs and a ponytail, 19-year-old Luna is dressed in a white long sleeve button down shirt from Funktique, which she paired with brown wide leg trousers from Dept. She finished off her look with brown leather Funktique boots with block heels and a black East West Traveler belt bag from Anki, and accessories from Funktique such as drop earrings and a rhinestone choker. Luna’s favorite fashion label is Balenciaga, and she enjoys listening to K-pop music. Luna is also active on Instagram.

Meanwhile, 16-year-old Yura is dressed in a blue green jacket from Toga, worn over a black t-shirt, and black pants from Yohji Yamamoto. Black lace-up boots, a black leather belt, and a green belt slung across one shoulder completed his minimalist look. For more on Yura, follow him on Instagram.
