Japanese Handmade Denim Kimono & Floral Street Styles w/ Fenty x Puma & VidaKush
While walking along the streets of the Harajuku neighborhood, our eyes were caught by Ayane and Sakibon, who are both sporting interesting kimono fashion remake styles.
At the left is Sakibon, an office worker. She is dressed in a dark mauve-and-cream floral print short kimono dress, with a bright pink and tan obi belt. She styled her kimono with black-and-white thigh-high socks with playing card suits print and black velvet ankle-strap heels. Finally, she topped off her look with a plush bear headdress for her twin tails, cute rocking horse and bear drop earrings, ruffled lace wrist cuffs, a silver heart ring, a black-and-silver knuckle ring, and she is holding a cute plush bear. Sakibon’s fashion favorite is Japanese brand, Snidel, and she likes the music of Japan-based musical group, HoneyWorks. Visit Sakibon’s chic feed on Instagram.
Ayane – sporting twin ombre braids and working in the finance industry – is wearing a remake denim kimono style outfit. Her ensemble features a Levi’s 502 handmade / remake denim kimono, which she styled with a white-and-purple obi belt with tassels. She added a denim maxi skirt with distressed detailing from Levi’s 503, cow print socks, and white sneakers with ankle straps from the Fenty x Puma collection. Her accessories – from Nike, [toys 280 yen], and Vidakush – include silver ball drop earrings, an ear cuff, layered necklaces, sunglasses, and silver rings. Ayane’s favorite fashion brands include Pinnap, Little Sunny Bite and MYOB NYC, and she enjys listening to Flo Rida. She is active on Twitter and Instagram.
