Japanese Streetwear Fashion w/ Leather Vest, Christopher Nemeth Distressed Denim, Rope Print Tote & Dr. Martens Boots

One afternoon while out on the Harajuku streets, we met Riku, a 16-year-old student who caught our eye with his interesting take on denim and leather street style.

Riku is clad in a black leather pocket vest, which he wore with a Christopher Nemeth long sleeve brown-and-black top, and a pair of cuffed jeans with distressed knee patches and geometric pattern details, also sourced from Christopher Nemeth. He finished his look with Dr. Martens lace-up boots with white laces, and accessories such as a single horn earring, a globe pendant necklace, and multiple brass knuckle earrings. In addition, Riku is carrying a rope print canvas tote bag and is sporting a rope print scarf hanging from his jeans, both of which are also from Christopher Nemeth.

British fashion label – now a Tokyo-based brand – Christopher Nemeth, is Riku’s favorite brand.
