Japanese Stylist & Harajuku Nail Artist in Avant-Garde Street Styles w/ Comme des Garcons, Haight&Ashbury, GVGV, Raf Simons, Y-3, Moschino & Yosuke

While walking along the Harajuku street one night, we met Bunta Shimizu, a 19-year-old Japanese stylist and Maiko, a nail artist and owner of the Harajuku boutique Neuron Nailz Tokyo. They easily caught our eye with their colorful avant-garde street styles.

Yellow-haired Bunta’s ensemble consists of a yellow faux fur coat from Haight & Ashbury, a Comme des Garcons red button down shirt over a printed mock turtleneck zipper shirt, flared metallic pants from GVGV, and black Adidas x Raf Simons sneakers. A tote bag from Y-3 and a green belt completed his look. Bunta’s favorite fashion brands are Neuron and The Four-Eyed, and he likes the music of Hone Bone. Follow Bunta on Instagram.

And at the right, Maiko – sporting partially-shaved burgundy hair – is wearing a printed bomber jacket from Moschino over a red long sleeve ruffle top, a metallic blue skirt over black skeleton tights, red Yosuke platform sneakers, and a black disc handbag. She accessorized with a green sequin beret hat, black cone earrings, and a Moschino belt. For Maiko’s social media updates and amazing nail art, follow her on Instagram.
