Statement Japanese Menswear Suit Street Style w/ Blazer Worn Over Head, Double Neckties, Yohji Yamamoto & Foot The Coacher

On the street in Harajuku, we came across Hikaru, a 15-year-old student whose eye-catching take on menswear grabbed our attention.

Hikaru is wearing a resale long black pinstripe blazer worn over his head, styled with a white collared shirt, two diagonally-striped neckties, and black Yohji Yamamoto pants. Black leather Foot The Coacher shoes, and accessories – some from Yohji Yamamoto – such as round tortoiseshell eyeglasses, an ID necklace, silver chains, silver knuckle rings, and white rope connecting his blazer and tied at his knees.

Vaquera and John Lawrence Sullivan are two of Hikaru’s favorite fashion brands, and he likes the music of Chico Carlito. Follow him on Instagram.
