Plaid Harajuku Streetwear Styles w/ Bershka Berets, Jouetie, Burberry, Asymmetrical Skirt & Tokyo Bopper

While out and about on the Harajuku street one afternoon, we came across Yui, Rion and Hinako, three Japanese teens whose eye-catching plaid streetwear styles easily grabbed our attention. Let’s take a look at their individual ensembles:

At the left is 15-year-old Yui, who is clad in a red plaid maxi dress from Jouetie with a side slit, worn over a resale green plaid skirt. She styled her dress and skirt with a sheer white ruffle top, donned black socks, and slipped into black sneakers from Nike. Yui finished off her streetwear style with a red plaid Bershka beret and a plaid bow earring. Visit Yui’s style feed on Instagram.

Sporting long purple hair at the middle is Hinako. The 16-year-old is dressed in a resale red-and-green plaid blazer with gold buttons, which she wore over a Burberry plaid collar shirt and paired with a brown plaid wool skirt with asymmetrical hem from GU. She donned floral print socks with her Tokyo Bopper sneakers and finished off her style with a blue striped hair bow and silver hoop earrings. Resale Kinji and Tokyo Bopper are two of Hinako’s fashion favorites, and she is active on Twitter and Instagram.

Meanwhile, Rion – sporting a brown fringed bob with a red plaid Bershka beret – stepped out in a resale long sleeve red plaid shirt with contrasting plaid print sizes. The 15-year-old student styled her shirt with a green-and-red plaid midi skirt with pleats, black socks, and a pair of black sneakers. Rion lists Merry Jenny and Jouetie as her fashion favorites, while her music artist pick goes to Seiko Oomori. She is also active on Instagram.
