Remake Street Style in Harajuku w/ Plaid Ruffle Skirt, Checkered Shirt & Yosuke Strawberry Creepers
While out for a stroll on the Harajuku street one afternoon, we came across Hanuru, a 17-year-old student whose striking ensemble easily caught our eye.
Hanuru’s street style – made up of resale/remake pieces – consists of a blue-and-white checkered button down shirt, with deconstructed tassel sleeves, and a long sheer white mesh panel with a scalloped trim. A long red plaid skirt with ruffled hem, black socks, a blue Japan Air Lines crossbody bag, and strawberry print Yosuke suede creepers with black and red laces finished off her style. Her accessories include a roped straw hat with red and white ribbons, red tassel earrings, a diagonally-striped necktie, and a vintage cameo ring rounded out Hanuru’s style.
Hanuru loves browsing thru resale shops, and she enjoys listening to the music of South Korean boy band, BTS. Follow Hanuru on Twitter and Instagram.
